Fourteen days,
no reason needed.

You may withdraw from a purchase made here within 14 days, without giving any reason and without penalty. Changing your mind is a reason, and you do not have to give even that one.

The period runs from the day on which you — or a third party you named, other than the carrier — take physical possession of the goods. Not from the order date, and not from the dispatch date. Where an order arrives in more than one parcel, it runs from the day the last parcel arrives.

Had we not told you about this right, the period would run for twelve months from the end of the initial fourteen days. This page, the checkout, the cart and the conditions of sale all carry it, so that extension does not arise.

Tell us, before the fourteen days are up, in any way that makes the decision unambiguous. All of these work:

• an email to support@mcaabbigliamento.shop saying you are withdrawing, with your order reference;
• a telephone call to +39 320 583 7412, which we will confirm back to you in writing;
• the statutory model form below, filled in and sent to us;
• a letter to the registered office.

It is enough that the notice is sent before the deadline. It does not have to reach us before it.

We acknowledge every withdrawal in writing on the same or the next business day. If you do not get an acknowledgement, assume it did not arrive and call us.

Annex I part B to the Consumer Code sets out a model withdrawal form. Using it is entirely optional — a clear statement by any means has exactly the same effect — but it is here for anyone who would rather fill in a form than compose an email.

It is a plain text file in Italian and English, so it opens on anything and can be filled in by hand or on screen.

Send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing. The deadline is met if you dispatch them before it passes.

Who pays for the return

The direct cost of returning the goods is yours, unless the return is because something was faulty or not what was ordered, in which case we pay it. As a guide, a tracked return of a single shirt within the European Union typically costs between $8 and $18; from outside it, more. We do not deduct a restocking fee, because there is no such thing in this context.

The condition they come back in

You may handle and try on the goods as you would in a shop — put the shirt on, see how it sits, take it off. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

In practice: a shirt that has been worn for an afternoon, washed, altered, scented or damaged has lost value and we may reduce the refund proportionately, telling you exactly why. A shirt that has been tried on has not.

Linen creases the moment it is handled. A creased shirt is not a diminished shirt and we will never treat it as one.

We refund every payment received from you, including the standard outbound delivery cost, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision.

• The refund goes back by the same means you used to pay, unless you expressly agree otherwise. It never costs you a fee.
• Where you chose a more expensive delivery than our standard offering, we refund the standard cost rather than the upgrade.
• We may withhold the refund until we have the goods back, or until you supply evidence of having sent them, whichever happens first.
• Partial withdrawal is fine. Return one shirt out of four and we refund that shirt, plus a proportionate share of shipping where shipping was charged.

The Consumer Code allows certain goods to be excluded from the right of withdrawal: goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once opened.

Nothing in this catalogue falls into either category, so nothing sold here is excluded from the right of withdrawal. Group and wedding orders are made from catalogue garments in catalogue sizes and are not personalised, so they are not excluded either.

If we ever introduced a product that was excluded, the exclusion would be stated on that product’s own page, before adding it to a cart — not only in a policy.

Withdrawal is about changing your mind. It is not the route for something that arrived faulty, damaged or not as described — that is the two-year legal guarantee of conformity, it lasts far longer, and it costs you nothing to invoke.
